Health and wellness should never be out of reach, yet many families struggle to afford basic items that support day-to-day well-being. Our SANA initiative provides access to everyday wellness tools, from hygiene items to fitness and self-care resources.
Fund a Need
Essential Food Pantry
Access to basic necessities should never be out of reach. SIPA’s Essential Food Pantry provides non-perishable food, clothing, baby items, hygiene products, and pet supplies to community members in need. The pantry offers a welcoming space where families can access resources and support their households to everyday essentials that promote health, stability, and community care.
PLATO Community Garden - The PLATO Community Garden Program brings youth and families together to learn about sustainability, food justice, and cultural traditions/practices of growing and sharing food. In neighborhoods where access to fresh produce and green space can be limited, the garden becomes a safe and nurturing place for connection, learning, and healing.
Wellness Winners Program
Community wellness grows when people have access to culturally meaningful health education and resources. The Wellness Winners Program offers holistic workshops on topics such as mental health, nutrition, women’s health, financial literacy, parenting, and chronic disease prevention. Through these sessions, residents gain practical tools to support their well-being while building connection and confidence within the Historic Filipinotown community.
